I had hoped back in August when I wrote the last events update, that it would be the last one announcing ongoing delays to our ability to cover events as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic sweeping through the world.
The very short update is that we're still waiting on events to start back up here in the UK, and given we are currently back in a full-scale lockdown, it's looking unlikely that we'll be attending any events for the foreseeable future.
Our current hope is that because of the amazing work of our NHS here in the UK, we are hopeful that by the time we get to our normal schedule of summer events, we will be in a position to be able to attend the events. This is very much dependant on the UK restrictions and if events can run at all.
We are hopeful that the Insomnia Gaming Festival this August bank holiday weekend will be running and will very likely be the first event of the year we're attending, hopefully then followed by EGX, MCM Comic Con London, and finishing the year with MCM Comic Con in Birmingham.
We will keep you up to date as the situation progresses, and we can't wait to get back to doing what we love and covering these gaming events for you!
