What do you do when you're one of the most well known Gaming Systems and Peripheral Providers in the world, you've just released your thinnest and lightest Gaming Laptop which contains a NVIDIA GTX 1080?

That's simple if you're R Λ Z Ξ R (RAZER), because they've just announced their new 'Project Valerie' which to me, is going to be a godsend and I'm sure a LOT of people are going to agree because it's one of the coolest things I've seen Razer announced. Apart from the Razer Mug of course, need to get myself one of those.

What is 'Project Valerie'?

Earlier today, it was announced by Razer that they are working on a brand new set of projects. This happened to include Project Valerie as you have probably already managed to guess from the title of this article.

Project Valerie is the World's First Portable Laptop consisting of three built-in displays, and to do this they didn't even make the original screen smaller - oh no. The three displays are * 100% RBG 17.3-inch Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) IGZO Panels* that work simultaneously with each other. Wow.

Just take into account that with three of these 3840 x 2160 Display's, you have an absolutely astonishing 11,520 x 2160 Resolution experience with the brand new Project Valerie. This really isn't something you could make up, especially with a Gaming Laptop.

Battlefield 1 being played at CES on a Project Valerie Setup

Now obviously this is going to be a huge strain on any GPU and it's going to be a massive accomplishment. That is why Razer have announced that all three display's will support G-SYNC and are built on a motorised hinge that will place the monitors into the best position.

Sadly I do have to put a downer on things and let you all know that this is a Prototype that Razer are exhibiting at CES currently and isn't coming out for a while as far as we are aware.

Razer are building this system as a mobile office, by using the Razer Blade Pro as the foundation for this, they already have a thin and light system. Final specifications are not complete yet for the dimensions and weight, but Project Valerie with its triple monitors will be in the same aluminum chassis as the other Razer laptops, with a thickness of 1.5-inches, and a final weight around 12 pounds, which is really not much different than many other 17.3-inch Gaming Laptops.

Project Valerie - The Basis

The Star of Project Valerie is of course the Razer Blade Pro. A Quad-Core i7 Mobile CPU, NVIDIA GTX 1080 and tonnes of RAM. For outright gaming, the single GTX 1080 is going to struggle with this kind of resolution of course, but if and when this comes to production we’ll see what Razer can do about that. It also features the ultra-low-profile mechanical keyboard from the Pro, with per-key RGB backlighting and Chroma support.

The problem is, will this EVER be an affordable option? We really aren't sure..

We aren't the only one's who think it isn't a affordable option. However, I don't want to be one too judge. So let's see what happens.

It's going to be so expensive, Jen here wants to sell her first born child to get one..
